Domestic Violence During Covid-19
Note: If you are in immediate danger, please dial 911. If you don't feel comfortable calling the police, call the Kentucky Center for Women and Families at (502) 581-7200.
While Coronavirus has us all stuck inside, it's important to remember that a lot of our fellow citizens do not feel safe in their own homes.
If you or someone you know is experiencing violence or threats of violence while stuck at home during this health crisis, please know that there are still resources available to help. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times: No one should have to live in fear in their own home. While many Kentucky courts remain closed, it's important to know that domestic violence protective order cases have been specifically exempted from such restrictions. If you or someone you know needs a protective order, even during this time of crisis, the courts are open to you and so am I. Call 502-403-2394 today for a free consultation.
