Skeens Law Represents Substitute Teachers in Wrongful Unemployment Cases
Skeens Law in the news:
Substitute teachers deserve for their state government to be open and honest with them.
Instead, the Beshear administration has publicly encouraged substitutes to sign up for unemployment as a means to ease their financial burden during the pandemic, while privately choosing not to waive specific rules that prevent them from legally collecting. Now the state wants that money back. We'll just see about that.
It's an outrage. It's unconscionable. If this were a republican administration every media outlet in the state would rightfully be screaming from the rooftops. Thanks to Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting for reporting on this when no one else would.
